Maag Food received the silver level recognition as a supporter of national defenderse
29. September 2025The Estonian Ministry of Defence recognized Maag Food as a supporter of national defenders by awarding the company the silver level badge. The supporter of national defenders recognition is granted to employers who support their employees’ participation in defence forces training exercises and thereby contribute more broadly to national defence.
“We are very pleased to have received this recognition for several consecutive years already. ‘The willingness and ability of reservists to participate in training exercises depends greatly on whether their employer supports them – for example, by maintaining their full salary during the exercises or by offering flexible working arrangements. The security of the Republic of Estonia largely relies on our dedicated reservists and volunteers, especially in these uncertain times. That is why, as an employer, it is very important for us to support our employees in all of this,’ says Martin Küüsmaa, Member of the Management Board of Maag Food, who himself is an active reservist and participant in training exercises.
